cherryberry12Hello everybody! This will be the official event page for the Shiita Server's March Madness Event. Please keep an eye on this page for any official announcements and for all the rules for the event!
MARCH MADNESS RULES
1. This event is 18+. NSFW work IS permitted so long as it is properly tagged.
2. We will start with sixteen prompts. Every week, sets of two prompts will be paired against each other, and whichever prompt receives more votes will continue to the next round.
3. There will be a total of four rounds. The first round will last from February 21, 2021 to March 6, 2021 due to the number of initial prompts.
4. Votes will be calculated per piece that is submitted regardless of its detail or word count. In order to be counted as a vote, the piece MUST feature the prompt or prompts and the prompt featured MUST be noted in either the notes or description.
5. Both fic and art are permitted as entries.
6. A person may submit multiple pieces that can count for multiple votes so long as it features and notes each prompt.
7. A single piece can be used to vote for multiple prompts.
8. This event is NARUTO ONLY. You may, however, choose ANY PAIRING with ANY CHARACTERS from Naruto or Boruto. There are no limits to this--problematic pairings are allowed. Poly pairings are allowed. Gen fics are allowed.
9. Any kind of subject is permitted, but all content must be tagged appropriately for NSFW, triggers, etc.
10. Original characters are not permitted unless they are background characters / not central to the story.
11. Votes will be counted per round. If you create a piece for round one, it will only count for round one.
12. Points will reset each round. That means that for each matchup, both tropes will start back at 0, regardless of how many points they received the previous round.
13. In the event of a tie in round one, both will advance for a three-way matchup.
14. In round two and beyond, ties will be broken by total collective votes from previous rounds.
How to win:
1. Submit at least one prompt fill with your name included.
2. Either with your prompt fill, or separately, post a completed bracket with your predictions for the winning trope and your name.
3. Brackets MUST be posted before the first round concludes.
4. Correct round one answers will be awarded one point, round two will have two points, etc.
5. Whoever has the highest scoring bracket will be rewarded with one commission based off of a prompt fill of their choosing.
